of Ponds 2007 to Benefit Descanso Gardens:

Imagine spending a relaxing
afternoon visiting some of Southern California’s
most beautiful water gardens. You
can probably start to feel the tension melting
away just thinking about it. The soothing
sounds of the cascading waterfalls, the sight
of Koi fish magically swimming around, and
you by the edge of the pond taking a deep
breath in.
Pacific Outdoor Living is having a Parade of Ponds event on Saturday and Sunday, December 8-9, in the Foothills area of Los Angeles, with proceeds from the event to benefit Descanso Gardens in La Canada. This event allows the public to go to a number of residences around the area and view their backyard ponds, streams and waterfalls.
These backyard ponds, streams and waterfalls that are included in the Parade of Ponds were all installed by California Waterscapes.
Ticket Prices and Tour Hours
Tickets are $15 each (children 10 and under
are free)
Saturday, December 8th: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 9th: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased by calling (818) 244-4000, or at the Pacific Outdoor Living Design Center at 2729 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta.
Special reception at the Pacific Outdoor Living Design Center continues until 7:00 pm on both days.
All proceeds will benefit the Descanso Gardens Partnership for Ponds Restoration Project. Descanso Gardens is a 160-acre botanical garden and historical site located at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Canada, owned by the County of Los Angeles and operated by the non-profit Descanso Gardens Guild.
