It continuously pulls in surface debris, like leaves and pollen, before it can settle to the bottom. This first layer of filtration helps keep your pond clean and reduces the workload on the biological filter.
Step 2
BioFalls® (biological filter): Concealed within the waterfall structure, the BioFalls® unit is where the water flows after passing through the skimmer. This filter uses beneficial bacteria, natural probiotics for your pond to break down excess nutrients and maintain crystal-clear water.

Our dual-filtration process ensures healthy water quality and long-lasting performance. First, larger debris is captured by the mechanical filter, which removes particles like fish food, dust, and leaves. Then, the water moves through the biological filter, where smaller contaminants are broken down through a natural bacterial process. This two-step system is the foundation of a balanced, thriving ecosystem pond.
