Step 1

Skimmer (mechanical filter): Installed at the water’s edge, the skimmer houses a pump and debris basket that continuously draw in surface material, pine needles, coastal fog residue, wind-blown leaves before it sinks. This first line of defense keeps the pond floor free of buildup and eases the load on the biological filter.

Step 2

BioFalls® (biological filter): Hidden inside the waterfall, the BioFalls® chamber receives pre-filtered water from the skimmer. Inside, colonies of beneficial bacteria break down nutrients and organic waste, returning crystal-clear, healthy water to the pond.
