Step 1

Skimmer (mechanical filter): Positioned at the pond’s edge, the skimmer houses a powerful pump and collection basket. It actively pulls in floating debris such as pollen, twigs, and fallen leaves, preventing them from settling and decomposing. This reduces buildup and supports better water clarity from the start.

Step 2

BioFalls® (biological filter): Hidden within the waterfall structure, the BioFalls® acts as the second layer of filtration. Water that passes through the skimmer flows into this unit, where it is purified using colonies of beneficial bacteria. These microbes naturally eliminate excess nutrients that would otherwise lead to murky water.
