How it Works

Step 1

Skimmer (mechanical filter): Placed at the pond’s edge, the skimmer acts as the first line of defense, removing leaves, twigs, and surface debris before it sinks. It houses a pump and skimmer basket, which ensures water remains clean and ready for the next filtration stage.

Step 2

BioFalls® (biological filter): Once the water passes through the skimmer, it moves to the BioFalls® unit, concealed in the waterfall feature. This natural filter uses beneficial bacteria, organic probiotics to break down waste and maintain a clear, balanced aquatic environment.
