Pond Design Experts in Todd Place

Bring the tranquility of nature to your backyard with a custom-built ecosystem pond by California Waterscapes. Our team of Pond Design Experts creates natural, low-maintenance water features that support local wildlife and enhance your outdoor living experience. Each pond is designed to function as a self-sustaining ecosystem, where every component plays a vital role. If one piece is missing, the entire balance is disrupted.

How it Works

Step 1

Skimmer (mechanical filter): The skimmer, located along the pond’s edge, pulls in floating debris like twigs, pollen, and leaves. It contains a pump and basket that help trap unwanted materials before they sink, minimizing buildup and easing the work of the biological filter.

Step 2

BioFalls® (biological filter): Tucked behind the waterfall, the BioFalls® system hosts colonies of beneficial bacteria that naturally break down organic waste. These helpful microbes help maintain healthy, crystal-clear water by eliminating excess nutrients.

Our Filtration Expertise

At California Waterscapes, we’ve refined the filtration process through years of experience and product testing. After comparing various systems, including pressure filters, bead systems, and internal setups, we trust biological filtration from Aquascape Inc. for its superior performance and reliability.

Our dual-stage process begins with mechanical filtration that captures large debris. Then, biological filtration takes over, purifying the water through natural bacterial breakdown. This ensures your pond in Todd Place remains clean, balanced, and beautiful, all without harsh chemicals.
