Vista Point | 15′ Wide Pondless Waterfall

Large Waterfalls at Vista Point

The homeowners association for this Calabasas community wanted something to separate their entrance from the rest of the neighboring communities. They wanted 2’ – 6’ tall, by 5’ wide waterfalls to greet the residents and visitors at the front gates. This was incredibly challenging for a number of reasons, but the main one being, the location of the water feature on this 45-degree slope.

So Cal Hillside Waterfalls and Koi Pond

This beautiful 27’ foot long “waterfall/stream” going into a 6 x 9 pond. This space was an eyesore in the client’s backyard and now it is the absolute focal point!

This client specifically requested free falling waterfalls staggered throughout this water feature. This project called for 12 tons of Laguna rock works perfectly with its angular shapes and just a few pieces of flagstone on specific falls to create a truly dramatic effect. The project was completed in 3 days and ahead of schedule!

We added many lights within the water feature so that it can be enjoyed day or night. The client says that the water feature resembles a beautiful Christmas tree at night with all the falls glowing at night.

Pasadena Showcase 2011 | 10′ x 6′ Pond & Pool Waterfall

Gorgeous 2-in-1 Pool and Water Feature!

It might look like it goes into the pool, but the waterfall and stream on the pond side of the bridge is it’s own self contained unit. The waterfall on the pool side of the bridge is the chlorinated pool water tapped into the pool plumbing. This homeowner can now enjoy a natural koi pond with thriving aquatic plants that give their newly remodeled pool a unique look.
